The Credit, College, & Compounding (also known as the 3 C’s) Program is designed to equip high school students with the knowledge and tools necessary to be financially successful in college and beyond.
Many high school students nowadays receive a minimal education in financial literacy. While financial education has come a long way in recent years, most programs are ineffective as they fail to engage students on a level that matters to them. Taught by trained college students, the Credit, College, & Compounding Program provides high school students with insights from students with firsthand experience transitioning from high school to college.
Topics include the foundations of credit, when to use a credit card instead of a debit card, credit card rules, student loans and scholarships, the ABC’s of Financial Success, and more!
After going through the course, you are well on your way to successful personal financial management. But that’s not all! Becoming a Carmela Graduate is the first step toward becoming eligible to apply for a college scholarship! Click here for more information on scholarships.
