For salary support for a part-time Advocate Supervisor who will supervise up to 15 additional volunteer advocates, allowing them to serve up to 20 more youth without compromising their service quality. CASA volunteer advocates, trained and supervised by the Advocate Supervisors, serve as a child’s voice in court. They are committed to ensuring that needed services and assistance are made available to the children in out-of-home placements, while at the same time helping move them toward safe, nurturing and permanent homes. CASA’s mission is to recruit, train and supervise community volunteers to act as advocates for children who have been removed from their homes due to abuse and neglect.
