To support the expanded GED Prep Program which will provide additional classes, coaching and training to help them serve more women and increase the number who pass the General Equivalency Degree (“GED”) exam this year. They are expanding the program in two significant ways. First, they have added a part-time facilitator to reduce attrition by helping students solve logistical problems that prevent them from attending the program consistently. Second, they have increased the number of student tutors from 6 to 8 to address the needs of those individuals who are weaker academically. Grace Outreach provides programs for low-income women aged 18+ who are seeking to enhance their academic skills, attend college, and secure employment.
