To help support a new Vice President for Development/Director of Major Gifts position responsible for launching a Sustainability Initiative to develop an individual and major gifts funding stream and build an endowment that will ensure its strength and sustainability for the future. This work is even more vital as the Hispanic population grew by 43 percent in the last decade, accounting for 1 out of every 6 Americans, with projections that Hispanics could make up a third of the U.S. population by 2050. The Hispanic Federation is a network of 100 Latino nonprofit agencies, including 73 agencies in New York City, that provide programs including job training, health care, after school and employment services.
