To provide continued support for the implementation of their College Transition program in New York City which pairs 11th graders with trained mentors in three-year relationships that extend through their first year of college. The mentoring relationship is guided by an evidence-based curriculum that ensures students’ college readiness, their successful transition to college, and college persistence. iMentor serves students attending under-resourced schools in low-income communities through innovative, technology-based approaches to youth mentoring. They match young people with volunteer adult mentors who provide structured support to ensure their pathways to high school graduation, college matriculation and future success in the 21st Century workforce.
