History

The L&L Educational Foundation was established in 1987 by Mr. Robert Ligon and Mr. W. Eugene Lane, Founders of L&L Products, Inc., a Michigan Corporation. The intent of the Foundation is to assist L&L Products, Inc. employees, their spouse and children obtain an education which may not have been available to them without assistance or hardship on their family.

The goal of the Foundation is to provide educational grants to as many worthy applicants as possible in order to assist those individuals in attaining an education that will benefit the applicant and society in a positive way.

Concerned about the rising cost of education and encouraged by the increasing numbers of eligible applicants seeking higher education, Mr. Ligon, Mr. Lane, their children and grandchildren have generously continued to support the Foundation since its inception.

Each year the Foundation allocates a percentage of its market value to fund educational grants.
