Application Process

Please do not send a letter of interest or pre-application for initial review. If your organization meets the above criteria, submit a brief proposal including the following materials. Please staple and/or clip all items into a single packet. Do not use a font smaller than Times Roman 12.

Cover Sheet on organization’s letterhead
Include the following information:

  • Contact name, title, address, phone number, email.
  • Amount requested
  • Project name (or, General Operations)

Narrative (not to exceed two pages):
Organization and/or project description, problem being addressed, proposed goals and strategies.

Budget Information:
Annual operating budget if requesting general operations support; both project budget and organization budget if requesting project support. Explain sources of income, projected and actual. (No audited financial statement packets, please.)

Copy of IRS 501(c)(3) letter; list of Board of Directors; optional additional materials such as press clippings or brochures. (Please keep to a minimum, and do not send tapes or CDs.)
