January 15, 2012: Edward Church Leaves Trio Foundation

Edward Church, an original Program Executive at Trio, announced that he was leaving the Foundation after 20 years of leadership and service to devote full time to his work at the Institute for Environmental Entrepreneurship. Ed provided Trio with insight, vision, expertise, and collaborative spirit since our beginning in 1992. We will miss him, personally and professionally, as he combines his commitment to social justice with his commitment to a sustainable planet.

November 15, 2008: Play Ranger Training Program

Discussion and networking meeting for individuals and organizations interested in supporting children’s play in nature. This meeting will be facilitated by David Hawkins and Karen Payne of Wild Zones and co-hosted by Habitot Children’s Museum, Childhood Matters and Nuestros Niños, and the Trio Foundation.

January 26, 2008: Play Around the Bay

Join Lyda Beardsley, Executive Director of the Trio Foundation, and other community leaders as they explore efforts at restoring children’s play at home, in school and in the neighbourhood.
